What Smitten charges for
Smitten's free tier is two stories a day without an account. Its upgrade page sells everything after that: unlimited and longer stories, characters that remember, continuing a story where you left off, saving stories to collections and audio narration. You can buy a day pass or a monthly Plus plan.
What's free here instead
On AI Smut Generator those writing features aren't an upgrade:
- Long chapters, up to about 3,500 words, on a free account
- A story bible with character sheets and a memory panel you can edit, so chapter five still knows what happened in chapter one
- Continue, rewrite and branch any chapter, and keep every version
- A library of up to 1,000 saved stories, with Markdown and text export
- Four heat levels, from Sweet to Explicit, after a free age check
The daily limit is 30 stories, a fair-use cap rather than a paywall. See everything that's included.
What Smitten does better
Smitten Plus reads your stories aloud, and AI Smut Generator has no audio. Smitten's paid plans are also unlimited, while AI Smut Generator stops at 30 stories a day. And AI Smut Generator's previews without an account stop at Sensual heat; explicit heat needs a free account and age check.
Switching from Smitten
Copy the premise of a story you liked into the box on the homepage, set the heat, and pick first, second (Y/N) or third person. If you had characters you liked, give them a sheet in the story bible once and every chapter after that will use it.
When to stay with Smitten
If you mostly want short stories read aloud, Smitten Plus does something AI Smut Generator doesn't. If you want longer chapters, a story that remembers, and a library you don't pay for, try AI Smut Generator first.
Questions
Is there a free alternative to Smitten Plus?
AI Smut Generator includes the writing features Smitten puts in Plus (long stories, characters with memory, continuing and saving stories) on its free account, up to 30 stories a day. It doesn't narrate stories aloud, which Smitten Plus does.
Do I need an account?
Not to try it: you get 3 previews a day at up to Sensual heat. A free account and a free 18+ check unlock explicit heat, long chapters and your library.
Can I bring a Smitten story over?
Yes. Paste the setup into the premise box, add your characters to the story bible, and continue from there.
