How Age Verification Works

AI Smut Generator writes fiction for adults. A checkbox that says "I'm over 18" is not enough, and in many places the law requires a real age check. We wanted one that is fast, free and private, so this is how we built it.

Why we check

There are two reasons. First, adult fiction should be read and written by adults only. Second, laws in a growing number of countries and US states require services like ours to confirm a reader's age properly before showing explicit content. Doing it well protects you, protects us, and keeps AI Smut Generator online.

When we check

You will be asked to verify once, the first time you do any of these:

• Unlock explicit heat
• Save a story to your library
• Continue a story past the guest preview

You never need to verify to read this website, browse the generators, or try a sensual-heat preview as a guest. The check is free on every plan.

How it works

The check is run by a third-party verification partner such as Yoti or VerifyMy. You go through it in a secure window, and the partner tells us the result. There are three methods, and you move to the next one only if the one before can't confirm your age.

1. Email-based age estimation. The partner looks at signals linked to your email address, such as how long it has been in use, to estimate whether you are an adult. Most people pass here in seconds, with nothing to upload.
2. Facial age estimation. If the email check can't confirm your age, you take a quick selfie. The partner's system estimates your age from the image. It does not identify who you are.
3. ID and selfie. If neither of the first two methods works, you can show a government ID and take a selfie so the partner can match them.

What we receive

Only two things: a yes or no, and a timestamp. That result is linked to your account so the app knows you have passed.

What we never see or store

• Your ID document, its number, or a photo of it
• Your selfie or any face scan
• Your date of birth
• Your name as it appears on your ID

The verification partner processes those under its own privacy terms and our agreement with it, and does not pass them to us. We never ask you to send ID to us directly, by email or any other way. If anyone claiming to be AI Smut Generator asks for it, don't send it, and tell us at support@example.com.

Why the check can differ by location

Age verification laws are not the same everywhere. In some places, such as the UK and several US states, the law sets a higher bar for what counts as a valid check. If you are in one of those places, you may be asked straight away for facial estimation or ID, rather than the email method. Elsewhere, the quickest method usually works.

We work out your general location from your connection, only to decide which rules apply. We don't store it for this purpose.

If the check fails

Don't worry, it happens. Common causes are poor lighting for the selfie, a blurry ID photo or a new email address.

• Try the next method. If email estimation can't confirm your age, facial estimation or ID usually will.
• Try again in good light. Face the camera directly, without a hat or sunglasses.
• Contact us. If you are an adult and keep failing, email support@example.com. We can't override the partner's result, but we can help you find a method that works.
